‘Demon Slayer’ Season 3 Gets Release Window

The third season of the action-packed anime, Demon Slayer, is reportedly debuting sometime in April. The show’s release month was mentioned in a new trailer that dropped on Saturday. The third season is said to cover the Swordsmith Village arc.

Not only is the anime dropping a new season, but they’ll also be a tour in honor of it. The Demon Slayer World Tour will start in 2023 with a premiere event on February 18th. After this, a Demon Slayer movie will premiere in theaters in the U.S and Canada on March 3, 2023. The film will carry a feature-length cut of episodes 10 and 11 from Season 2 and some scenes from the third season. 

The show’s synopsis reads,

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after a demon slaughtered his whole family. The only survivor is his younger sister, Nezuko, who became a demon after the incident. As a Demon Slayer, Tanjiro aims to get his sister to become human again.”
