Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will officially debut this summer! The anime film follows the Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was supposed to hit small screens on April 22, 2022. However, the date is now moved to June 11, 2022.
This will be the second movie apart of the Dragon Ball brand. The first movie is called Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
The synopsis reads:
“Goku destroyed the evil ‘Red Ribbon Army’ organization in the past. But their will lived on! Now that they’ve revived, the R.R. create the new androids ‘Gamma 1’ and ‘Gamma 2’ and begin their revenge. Piccolo soon notices this disturbing activity and sneaks into the Red Ribbon base. Still there, he discovers an unimaginable ‘ultimate evil weapon’… Pan is kidnapped to lure Gohan to the base. There, he too joins the fight, and an unprecedented super battle begins! Where does all this death-match lead?! And what fate lies in store for Earth?!”
