Some exclusive photos from Sacrifice, the upcoming thriller starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans, have been released.
The photos give fans a look at the main cast, which includes Chris Evans in a white suit and Anya Taylor-Joy wearing a white outfit with a red headband. The movie also stars John Malkovich, Charli XCX, Ambika Mod, Yung Lean, Vincent Cassel, and Salma Hayek Pinault.
Sacrifice is about a movie star who’s trying to fix his career after being blacklisted. He attends a fancy charity gala hosted by a billionaire, but the night quickly turns into a hostage situation. The head honcho taking over the event is led by Joan, who believes she and her followers must follow a volcanic prophecy and “cleanse” the Earth.
The movie pokes fun at pop culture, snotty rich people, and people who pretend to support causes for appearances.
The film is directed by Romain Gavras, known for Athena and Les Misérables. It also marks his English-language debut. Sacrifice first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025 before being picked up by Netflix.
Sacrifice will premiere on Netflix on October 16, 2026.
