Although J.Cole just went on his first tour stop a while ago, it seems like the hip-hop icon is taking a break. His first destination was in Miami, where he brought out musicians like Drake. At that moment, the Certified Lover Boy applauded J.Cole for being “one of the greatest rappers to ever touch a mic.”
But due to production delays, J.Cole was forced to postpone two tour dates, the first in Philadelphia and the second in Detroit. While he was backstage at his show in Greensboro, NC, the rapper further explained why he had to reschedule two shows.
According to him, the lighting and basketball court setup was taking longer than usual to transport. Since the travel for his next stop is approximately nine hours, J.Cole simply wouldn’t have had time to get everything together. So he postponed the Detroit show to October 27 and the Detroit show to October 25.
In an Instagram post, he said
“I apologize for the inconvenience. I know people done hired babysitters, some people drive in from out of town, I hate this sh*t.”
“Even the fact that people waiting outside right now in Greensboro … that sh*t is A.) embarrassing and B.) I think about people’s time. This is the first time this ever happened to us. So I apologize for this sh*t.”
