Since starring in the most watched Apple TV+ movie, Palmer, Justin Timberlake, is set to star in another upcoming series on the streaming service. According to Deadline, Apple TV+ acquired the script for the upcoming untitled series that Timberlake will star in. Each episode is reported to last one hour and will be the first TV series that Timberlake has starred in.
The series will be based on the 2002 movie, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, which starred Sam Rockwell as the main character, Chuck Barris. The movie, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, is based on 1984 memoir about Chuck Barris. Barris was the creator and host of a few popular American television shows such as, The Newlywed Game and The Gong Show.
The fictional movie portrays the game show host as an undercover assassin and CIA agent. The movie paints a picture that the game show hosts real career is in assassination. The memoir is claimed to be Barris’, “Unlikely autobiography.” The description says it’s packed with, “Suspense, excess danger and exuberant fun.” Apple TV+ may have a hit! If Timberlake’s performance is anything like it was in his last movie, we are in for a real treat!
