Yesterday (Nov. 3) Lil Nas X posted a snippet of his new unreleased song on Twitter. Appearing in a spacey, colorful, reflective jacket and hat, Lil Nas X really just has fun with the rock inspired backdrop. While bouncing around, he sings the song’s hook with triumph, “I can make a hit that you can play/And I can make them sing it every day/And I know all of this is meant for me/Turn tomorrow’s into the todays.” The caption, however reads “TURN TOMORROWS INTO DA TODAYS,” so maybe that’s the song title? The word hasn’t really surfaced yet.
This news follows after Lil Nas X’s short-lived hiatus in September. On his Twitter account, Lil Nas X said that he would be taking a break from music.
Here, the tweet reads “It’s been a wild last 7 months and I’m ready to take a little time off. Sorry to everyone attending Twitchcon or The Sandbox music festival, I will not be there,”
As a peace-offering, Lil Nas X assures to fans that’ll he will make it up ‘some way’ at the end of his tweet. And if this is what he meant, fans are satisfied to the max!
