Lionsgate and rapper/tv director 50 Cent have joined forces to establish a branding deal and introduce a new ad-supported channel called 50 Cent Action.
The new channel featuring premium content from the Lionsgate library will be linked to the TV series Power and will include other popular films from Hollywood studios like The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Rambo, and The Expendables, which also star Samuel L. Jackson. More recently, Lionsgate’s president, Jim Packer, said they’re collaborating with Jackson to promote and launch the 50 Cent Action channel. In a meeting with Lionsgate, they expressed excitement about the partnership and shared their eagerness to work together on this new venture.
“50 Cent’s movies and television series are synonymous with non-stop action, and we’re thrilled to extend our longstanding partnership into the FAST space,” Packer said in a statement.
