The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming drama movie May December sees Natalie Portman in a lead role. The film also stars Julianne Moore and Charles Melton.
“Twenty years after their notorious tabloid romance gripped the nation, a married couple buckles under the pressure when an actress arrives to do research for a film about their past,” reads the logline.
Julianne Moore plays a character named Gracie Atherton-Yoo, who got involved in a scandalous relationship with an underage teenager and gets a movie made on her love story. Natalie Portman, on the other hand, plays Elizabeth Berry, the actress who’ll portray Gracie in the film.
May December is directed by Todd Haynes from a screenplay written by Samy Burch. The movie is produced by Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, Christine Vachon, Pamela Koffler, Sophie Mas, Grant S. Johnson, and Tyler W. Konney
