IGN unveiled that Netflix has ordered a fourth season for Castlevania, which is based on the hit video game series. This news follows the month-old release of the show’s third season. Netflix’s Twitter accounts shared the announcement with a clip of Isaac, the Devil Forgemaster, getting the 4-1-1 from Sir Mirror. The third season carried ten episodes, so it’s safe to say that the fourth season might have the same. For now, viewers are out of the loop. The renewal of Castlevania comes as a surprise because Netflix usually waits a month before releasing a new season.
According to Coming Soon, “Castlevania was adapted by comic book scribe Warren Ellis, who has written all 22 episodes to date.” The show stars Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, and Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades. Jaime Murray also plays as the vampire Carmilla, with Adetokumboh M’Cormack as Isaac, and Theo James as Hector. The third season of Castlevania introduced Bill Nighy as Saint Germain, as well as Toru Uchikado and Rila Fukushima, as Taka and Sumi.
There is no release date, as of yet.
