Nintendo has a huge project for The Legend of Zelda on the way. Aside from the announced remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Remake), the series is also getting a live-action movie. Filming finished earlier this year, and most of the cast had been kept a secret until now.
A new report has revealed a new set of cast members. So far, Uli Latukefu will play the main villain, Ganondorf. Dichen Lachman will play Princess Zelda’s bodyguard and advisor, and Yvonne Strahovski will play a queen whose name hasn’t been revealed. The movie will also be Sam Neill’s final role. He finished filming his scenes before passing away last month, but his character still remains a mystery.

Benjamin Evan Ainsworth stars as Link, and Bo Bragason plays Princess Zelda. The movie is directed by Wes Ball, who also directed The Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. It is set to release on April 30, 2027.
Meanwhile, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Remake) will potentially release this November, about a week before Grand Theft Auto VI releases on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
