The artistic strategist behind Raid71, Chris Thornley, is avowed for his take on portraits. In the blink of an eye, Thornley’s illustration presents vivid colors that pop out behind 3-D figures that are (sometimes) shaded with charcoal grey. Honestly, his work stands out from others because he takes a fresh and edgy comic book approach to basic wall decor. Thornley’s clients are companies like Dennis Publishing, Hearst Magazines, Gap, Lynx, ESPN, Microsoft, Disney, and X-Box, to name a few.
On Wednesday, Raid71 revealed four limited edition prints from their Classic Cartoon Charlie Mash-Ups collection. Starting today (February 27th), the photographs will be available for purchase until Sunday, March 1st. Each portrait will cost $13. The full set of four costs $30 with 5″x5″ dimensions and will be signed and numbered.
