WandaVision will be the first series to hit Disney+ from Marvel Studios. We can expect to see a connection between the experiences of other Avengers previously introduced in Marvel films. WandaVision will star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda the Scarlet Witch, alongside her lover Vision (Paul Bettany).
Little is known about the overall plot, but from the trailer we can conclude one thing— this unreal reality was not Wanda’s plan. We see two of The Avengers most powerful superhero’s living seemingly normal lives. The couple perform mundane household tasks with Wanda as a housewife and Vision going to work, completely different than their previous duties of crime-fighting and universe-saving.
This lovestruckem reality seems to be some soft of ploy to contain The Scarlet Witch’s powers, but what about Vision? We saw him last in a fatal battle against the tyrannical Thanos as he to struggled to withhold the mind stone. But as we know, the infinity stones have unparalleled power. So what is this alternate reality Wanda is experiencing? Who is behind her imprisonment and is Vision alive? These are all questions which we can expect answered on January 15, 2021 exclusively on Disney+.
There’s indeed a lot to process with this trailer. But we know the spotlight has been away from The Scarlet Witch for entirely too long. Much has been shrouded in mystery, but the WandaVision trailer gives us the best look.
