‘Russian Doll Season 2’ Trailer Officially Drops

The official trailer for Russian Doll’s second season has arrived! It’s set to debut on April 20th, 2022. The thriller comedy series will see Natasha Lyonne and Charlie Barnett reprise their lead roles. The 7-episode series will see Nadia and Alan escape from the time loops they were stuck in from season one. This season, they must navigate through more time travel from the past to a future moment where they’re stuck on a mysterious train.

“Set four years after Nadia and Alan escaped mortality’s time loop together, Season 2 will continue to explore existential thematics through an often humorous and sci-fi lens.”

“Discovering a fate even worse than endless death, this season finds Nadia and Alan delving deeper into their pasts through an unexpected time portal located in Manhattan’s most notorious locations. At first, they experience this as an ever-expanding, era-spanning, intergenerational adventure but they soon discover this extraordinary event might be more than they bargained for and, together, must search for a way out.”

Natasha Lyonne co-created the series with Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler. In terms of casting, she’ll be joined by Annie Murphy, Carolyn Michelle Smith, and Sharlto Copley.
