Netflix has added another show to its roster titled Shadecraft. The comic book that the show is based on is created by Joe Henderson, the co-showrunner of Lucifer, and artist Lee Garbett. The upcoming television series was made under a TV deal with Henderson, and he will co-write the pilot with Georgia Lee. Shadecraft will hit shelves on March 31st, 2021.
The storyline focuses on a 16-year-old named Zadie Lu, who is worried that shadows are somehow coming to life around her. On top of that, she has to face typical high school issues.
The comic book is a follow-up to Henderson and Garbett’s Skyward, which was nominated for the Eisner Award.
