Yesterday, Meek Mill unveiled on Instagram that his film, Charm City Kings was chosen to be apart of Sundance’s 2020 Film Festival. The festival’s line-up also includes 117 other movies like The Evening Hour and Zola.
According to Dream 13 Media, the story line is based off of the documentary, 12 O’Clock Boys, which was also the film’s initial name. Charm City Kings follows Mouse, a young boy who wants nothing more than to be a part of the Midnight Clique, a tough group of Baltimore bike riders who rule the summertime streets. As he navigates the challenges of coming of age in a complicated world, he learns the hard way that the choices you make early on can change your life forever.
This film is set to release on April 10th, 2020.
