A television series for Thirteen Ghosts is reportedly in development.
During an exclusive interview with Dread Central, Primordial Pictures’ very own Patrick Mediate and Fear the Walking’s SFX supervisor, Aaron McLane, announced they were inking a deal with Dark Castle to pitch the series for Sony Pictures Television.
William Castle’s horror film 13 Ghosts debuted back in 1960. The idea behind the series is to give some backstory about each ghost.
As per Coming Soon,
“Every culture in the world has its ghost stories, and this re-imagining of 13 Ghosts presents an international sampling of these supernatural tales. The ghost stories within each episode will have their own stylistic look and feel that will be explored and influenced by each individual director. This makes our ghost vignettes stand out stylistically as they set the theme for each episode.”
