The new Hustlers trailer along with it’s 1st official poster shows a collaboration of all A list, star-studded talents. Hustlers presents Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo and Cardi B in a night life drama.
The Hustlers film is inspired by a true-story, taking the audience through a specific experience in night life and sex work. A gang of strippers in manhattan are on quest to seek revenge on their high-earning clients from Wall Street. The action plan includes, drugging, robbing, and a whole lot of cash.
Grammy-nominated singer and actress J-Lo stars as Ramona (based on real-life ex-stripper Samantha Burbash), Crazy Rich Asains star, Constance Wu plays Destiny (the young women who becomes a stripper to help her family). Cardi B- who was an actual stripper before her Grammy Award winning rapping career, makes her debut on this film. Wu mentioned Cardi B teaching her how to give a lap dance in one of the scences,
Constance says,
“[We filmed] a scene where she’s teaching me how to give a lap dance…She’s like, ‘Show me what you’ve got!’ So I try. She’s like, ‘Honey, no! This is terrible!'”
The production team includes Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (the team behind Anchorman and Step Brothers). Lorene Scafaria is the writer and director of this spicy New York based film.
