Hulu has released the trailer for A24’s Such Brave Girls. The new comedy series will debut on December 15.
Such Brave Girls is about a dysfunctional family of three trying to get on their feet after the fourth member leaves their house for good. Such Brave Girls stars Kat Sadler, who also created and wrote the series. Her real-life sisters, Lizzie Davidson and Louise Brealey, play leading roles in the show as well.
Hulu defines Such Brave Girls as “a comedy series from the U.K. exploring life and love in all its ugly chaos.”
Sadler recently sat down with BBC and said about Such Brave Girls:
“It’s a family sitcom about three damaged narcissists who are desperate for love. It’s three characters trying to navigate the world armed with poor judgment skills and self-esteem exclusively tied to people who couldn’t care less about them.”
She added, “It’s a fictional show exploring trauma and dark subject matters that are deeply personal to myself and my sister, which would normally be dealt with in a drama territory, and moving it into a comedy space because that’s how we deal with our issues. But it’s proudly a sitcom.”
The upcoming comedy series will air on the BBC in the U.K. via BBC Three and BCC iPlayer on November 22 before debuting via Hulu on December 15.
