Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson took to Instagram earlier this weekend to announce that he will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Despite his trolling tactics, the hip-hop mogul has been conquering the TV and movie industry with successful shows such as Power.
As 50 continues to take new projects under his belt, the Selection Committee Chair Vin Di Bona recognized his talent and released a statement:
“This year’s choices were particularly unique. We were able to recognize the talents of 35 artists who have already built a legacy here in Hollywood. Also, we were able to celebrate many new talented artists who’ve touched our hearts in film, television, radio and a variety of musical categories.”
