Adrian Grenier doesn’t plan on reprising his role as Nate in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Based on the book with the same name, The Devil Wears Prada starred Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, who will be playing their characters again in the second movie. The movie sees Hathaway’s character Andy Sachs working for Miranda Priestly, a horrid boss and the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, Runway, in the first movie. Grenier’s Nate supports her passion at first, but then ends up complaining about her busy work schedule and career.

Before the movie ends, Sachs stops pursuing fashion journalism and starts working for a newspaper. Andy and Nate end up making up as well.
The Devil Wears Prada 2, on the other hand, finds Priestly dealing with the print magazine business plummeting. Her other former assistant, played by Blunt, is now a powerful advertising executive who works with Runway. Branagh will portray Priestly’s husband. Meanwhile, Tucci will reprise his role of Nigel, Runway‘s art director. The film will be in New York and Italy. Production for the movie started this week.
The Devil Wears Prada is based on Lauren Weisberger‘s novel of the same name. Twelve years after releasing her book, Weisberger published a sequel called Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, in which Hathaway’s character Andy goes on to be the editor for a bridal magazine and works on planning a wedding.
