This Friday, Alicia Keys is set to drop her eighth studio album, Keys. And reportedly, she’s been creating some heat with J.Cole. But it seems like the songs are on the backburner for now.
During an interview with Complex, she unveiled that while we might have to wait on hearing their collaboration, two or three tracks might be released sometime in the future.
“That’s the first time we connected,” she said. “He came through; he happened to be in the same place.”
She added, “We were talking, we were conversating, building. And then we just kinda happened to fall on some vibes or some things or some flows.”
The album Keys is a two-disk project with over 24 songs. Keys carries features from Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, Pusha T, Khalid, and more.
