According to ComingSoon, STXfilms is adding Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha to their cast list for their comedy series, Queenpins. Sources say that Kristen Bell is in the show as well.
“This is a perfect film for Bebe to be making her live-action film debut,” Adam Fogelson, Chairman STXfilms Motion Picture Group, said in a statement. “She’s an incredible talent and international superstar, and we love her for this role as Tempe Tina, an eccentric computer hacker who helps our heroines with their coupon scam. We know she will add so much fun, talent, and personality to this cast.”
Queenpins follows a suburban housewife who reaches her breaking point because her husband and society always overlook her. The anonymous woman decides to take back control of her life by starting an illicit coupon club. In turn, she ends up scamming big food companies and delivering deals to millions of fellow coupon clippers.
