Although the pandemic has died down a bit, non-essential businesses are still closed, including the movie theaters. But luckily, Vertical Entertainment has a solution for watching their upcoming flicks on a big screen. According to Coming Soon, the company will be debuting their Bella Thorne-led crime film, Infamous in selected drive-in theaters on Friday, June 12, alongside its digital release.
The film follows two lovebirds who rob their way across the southland. Arielle (Bella Thorne) is a hopeless dreamer who wants to be popular. Dean (Jake Manley) is an ex-con working for his abusive father. After the accidental death of Dean’s father, they’re forced to run for the hills. In an attempt to become a viral star, Arielle livestreams their escapades and robberies, earning them fame but eventually leading them towards a sad ending.
Infamous also stars Amber Riley. The film is written and directed by Joshua Caldwell and produced by SSS Entertainment and Lucidity Entertainment.
