Billboard is celebrating the 2010’s with essays on the 100 songs that they feel most define the decade and Nicki Minaj has topped the list with her smash hit “Super Bass”.

When celebrities have “go-to” songs, we listen because if its their favorite song it must be good right? So when Taylor Swift, one of the biggest country/pop artist to date raps “Super Bass” word by word it definitely got everyones attention.
“I remember being at a hotel and watching Taylor Swift on my laptop, and being like, ‘Wow, she rapped every single word,’” says Kane Beatz, who co-wrote and produced Minaj’s catchy upbeat hit. “It became a viral thing that girls wanted to show that they could rap the whole verse.” He says In a recent interview with Billboard.
“Super Bass” was released off the album Pink Friday in 2010 and the song was a complete success. From celebrities like Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez to Ellen who had toddler-celebrity duo Sophia Grace & Rosie on the show rapping word for word of the bubble gum hip-pop feel track.
