Brie Larson will reportedly lead a spin-off of the film 21 Jump Street.
According to a rep from World of Reel, Larson’s character, Molly Tracey, will be the focal point in an upcoming 21 Jump Street-based film.
Molly Tracey appeared in the first 21 Jump Street and was one of the high school students who helped Jonah Hill‘s Schmidt and Channing Tatum‘s Jenko with their case. Her character was also Schmidt’s love interest.
No other details have been provided about the potential upcoming film.
The 2012 comedy film, 21 Jump Street, was an adaptation of Johnny Depp‘s series of the same name. The movie stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, who both portray police officers undercover as high school students to investigate the outbreak of a new synthetic drug.
