Marvel fans have noticed that Captain America: Brave New World has a shorter runtime compared to the Chris Evans-led Captain America films. According to AMC Theatres‘ official website, Brave New World clocks in at just 1 hour and 58 minutes. In contrast, Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier ran for 124 minutes and 136 minutes, respectively.
This makes Brave New World the shortest Captain America movie in the franchise. However, it’s not the shortest feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That distinction goes to The Marvels, which runs for a brief 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson who has officially taken his title of Captain America. Sam gets involved in an international crisis after meeting with the newly elected U.S. President, Thaddeus Ross. To prevent global chaos, he must uncover the truth behind a sinister plot before the mastermind’s plans destroy the world forever.
The cast for Captain America: Brave New World includes Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. Directed by Julius Onah, the movie is produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. It’s also executive produced by Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth.
