City Girls are collaborating with Usher for their new single, “Good Love.” The legendary R&B singer is also set to perform on NPR’s Tiny Desk segment. “Good Love” will be available on June 24th. The rap duo announced the song’s arrival during their interview backstage at Hot97’s Summer Jam festival.
They define the record as “a good, good song. Fun, make you feel good, music.”

Their first single of 2022 was “Top Notch (feat. Fivio Foreign).”
Aside from this exciting news, City Girls sat down with Complex to speak on the negative comments circulating their sound. The two femcees added that they could make conscious rap if they wanted.
JT explained
“I feel like people often forget and try to discredit us and say we make bad music. And I never, ever, ever feel like that. I feel like everything we put out is fun and is a bop. It’s not conscious rap, but I could do a conscious rap. But I feel like our music is for freedom and fun and partying and to make women feel good and to pop they sh*t.”
