After weeks of speculation that Yung Miami was allegedly pregnant, the 25-year old rapper has officially confirmed that she is indeed expecting baby number 2!
The City Girls’ member, whose real is Caresha Brownlee, announced the good news via Instagram in a short clip of the groups upcoming Point Blank Period documentary.
In the clip, a seemingly emotional Miami breaks the news to Quality Control’s manager Pierre “Pee” Thomas.
“I don’t know what to do,” she says tearfully.
She hesitantly tells him she’s pregnant.
An understanding Pee reassures her that they will “figure something out.”
For some, the news may seem shocking since the group recently rose to fame and are still solidifying their place in Hip-Hop.
Additionally, Yung Miami has been holding down the duo girl group while rap partner J.T. serves a prison sentence for fraud.
Miami later posted a more lengthy post accompanied by a photo showing off her very pregnant belly; declaring she was doing it on her “own terms.”
I’ve been going back and forth to share this moment with my fans. But on MY TERMS!” she captioned the clip, before telling fans she would continue to prove the skeptics wrong. “I did everything they said I couldn’t because that’s just the type of woman I am and going to continue to be. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and life changing, so I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for the City Girls! And for the record JT has nothing to do with me being pregnant, she is so supportive and can’t wait for our newest addition! This is my personal life and it is what it is! PERIOD.”
