To date, Spotify has compiled massive data in order to determine their subscriber’s Daily Mixes and Discover Weekly’s. Spotify also presents the world with a roundup of last year’s most popular artists and songs.
Case in point, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish haved marked themselves as the top three most-streamed artists of 2019. Likewise, Camilia Cabello and Shawn Mendes‘ “Señorita” came in first place as the year’s most popular song. Billie’s “Bad Guy” and Post Malone’s and Swae’s “Sunflower,” on the other hand, have fallen in as the second and third. Podcast wise, The Joe Budden Podcast wears the crown, while Lizzo and Lil Nas X signify themselves as the top breakout artists.
Furthermore, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Eminem are listed in the top five most-streamed artists.
