“Who you going to call? GHOSTBUSTERS!”
The surviving cast of Ghostbusters have signed on for slime detail. Bill Murray, Dan Akyroyd and company will be picking up their proton packs and teaming up for the first time since 1989, in Jason Reitman’s much-anticipated Ghostbusters 2020. Star Dan Aykroyd announced the news in an interview on The Gregg Hill Show. Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore) previously said he was involved, but this confirms what fans had been hoping for – Murray, Aykroyd (Ray Stantz), Sigourney Weaver (Dana Barrett) and Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz), together with Hudson, have all been working on set.
The first trailer for Ghostbusters 2020 is set to arrive online very soon. While the specific release date hasn’t been revealed, it appears that the trailer will be making its way online in the coming days. Not only that, but it appears recent rumors suggesting that the title of the movie has changed may have been true, which we’ll get definitive confirmation of when the trailer drops, if not before. We can’t wait to see what kind of ghouls, ghosts and goblins well see this time around!
