Nowadays, the trend on Instagram for artists is to delete their posts to announce something big. And that’s precisely what Cordae did on Sunday. He followed this drastic change with a retweet on Twitter, prompting fans to assume that he’s dropping his upcoming tape, From a Bird’s Eye View, soon.
“Cordae has blacked out and deleted his Instagram,” the post reads. “Rollout is starting.”
Last month, the rap mogul celebrated the two-year anniversary of his album The Lost Boy, hinting that an LP will be on the way.
“My first born turns 2 today,” he penned on Instagram during that moment. “Oh how the time flys. I always knew The Lost Boy would be special. More importantly I knew the lives it would touch, and how many people it would help through dark times. Oh, and new music is OTW!”
The Lost Boy, which dropped in 2019, is undeniably a gem in the hip-hop community. It went so far as to be nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards. The project featured several smash hits like “Have Mercy,” “Bad Idea,” and “RNP.”
