On Sunday night (September 22nd) CupcakKe announced that she will be retiring from the music scene.
While on Instagram live, CupcakKe says while recollecting inner thoughts from a hotel room:
“So, this live will be the last video that y’all see of me. All my career, y’all have known me to be a nice girl, which I am. Recently, the past night, and today, I just been sporadic. It’s because I wanted to get as much attention as possible to let y’all know that I will no longer be doing music. And all of my music will be coming off every platform. I decided to give up. I decided to give up. I don’t want to say give up, let go music because I feel as though I’m corrupting the youth.”
Word is, that CupcakKe’s concern comes from seeing a 13-year old dance to one of her provocative tracks. Besides this, CupcakKe lets loose about her past gambling addiction; saying to all that she’s lost over $700,000 in a casino. Since then, CupcakKe has swiped clean her Instagram and Twitter page. But in the meantime, fans will scope at a bird-eyes view.
Like mentioned in CupcakKe’s song “Image“, we’ll see her “…coming like Ray Charles with a telescope.” In essence, CupcakKe will forever be an all-around fierce phenomenon.
