Def Jam and The Feature Presentation family do it yet again, as they collaborate with Sony Studios, ending off the night with another successful Dinner & A Movie with DJ Suss One. New York’s IPIC Theater was taken over on Tuesday, October 22nd by numerous star studded guests for the advance screening of Black and Blue. All things were satisfied from signature cocktails, a delectable dinner to personalized name cards sitting on the seats with snack favorites and popcorn.
Guests were greeted and invited up to the cocktail hour where the party kicked off. “Everyone who is everyone attends this event!” says a voice from the dimly lit lounge area. And they weren’t wrong. Big names such as iconic media personality Wendy Williams showed up with DJ Boof. Hosting alongside DJ Suss One for the night was Dave East as he rolled up with his entourage, packing out the place even more. Many were in attendance, music artists such as Hood Celebrityy, Maino, Yalee, Kiing Shooter, Breez and NBDY grabbed a couple of drinks before heading to the theater. VH1’s Mariah Lynn, Moe Money, Sky Landish and Richie Dollaz had a reunion as they took their seats. MTV’s Wild’N Out Justina Valentine, Sirius XM’s Swaggy Sie and SDot along with The Feature Presentation’s own LeA Robinson, Jennaske and Chanti McCoy shared a few laughs as they flicked it up with celebrity stylist Mickey Freeman. Power 105.1’s Honey German, Nyla Simone, Hot 97’s DJ Drewski were also in the building yet again. Social Media influencers Bryana Shaw, Krystal Vargas, Lucki Starr, Rae Holliday, Mapy and comedians Mr. Commodore and TravQue posted up, letting their followers know that Dinner & A Movie with DJ Suss One is an event you don’t want to miss.
Following cocktail hour, guests were escorted to their assigned seats to begin their luxurious movie experience. DJ Suss One started off the main event by sharing some welcoming words and ended the night with an exclusive interview and movie review by Dave East. The entire night was nothing less than epic with memorable people, good vibes and finished off with one of the most influential movies to hit the screen in a long time. Every seat was filled with impactful people who truly supported DJ Suss One and the legacy he has built throughout the years, everyone conveying endless love to one of the most respected DJs in the game.
Black and Blue will officially hit theaters Friday, October 25th!
