Drake and his long-time friend/collaborator Future have seemed to make amends after Hendrix seemingly dissed the Canadian rapper on his, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar‘s “Like That.” During Drake’s huge DRIZZMAS livestream with Adin Ross, he gave a shoutout to Future after the streamer gave him props.
“Shout out, Pluto,” Drake stated. He also spoke about his brand-new new cologne and kicking off his highly anticipated Australian tour, The Anita Win Max Tour.
The OVO leader and I Never Liked You rappers have worked together on What A Time To Be Alive and joined forces on songs like “Wait For U,” for instance.
The 6 God and Kenny’s rap battle started on March 22 after Metro Boomin and Future dropped their single “Like That” featuring K-Dot. As a result, the two rappers dissed each other across 10 tracks. In one of Drake’s diss singles “Family Matters,” he expressed that he’d like to be back on good terms with the Atlanta artist.
Months later, Future broke his silence on what is considered the start of Kendrick and Drake’s rap duel. He said ‘Big Three’ on my song. I’m supposed to be the one who gets mad,” he said during his interview with GQ.
