Deadline reports that Code Black‘s Emily Alyn Lind will star in HBO Max’s reboot of Gossip Girl. She’ll be playing Audrey, a woman who has been in a long term relationship and is starting to wonder what else is out there.
Gossip Girl, which was penned by Joshua Safran, is based on the book by Cecily von Ziegesar. The 10-episode series will be executive produced by Safran with Fake Empire’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage alongside Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo of Alloy Entertainment.
The original Gossip Girl series hit small screens for six seasons from 2007-2012 on The CW. It starred Kristen Bell, Blake Lively , Leighton Meester, and Penn Badgley, to name a few.
