Vin Diesel has confirmed via social media, a release date for the official Fast X movie trailer set to happen interestingly enough around Super Bowl 2023. The Fast X film is not the finale of the franchise but will be the second to last ending the journey for good in 2024 with said-to-be Fast and Furious 11. With the upcoming release date of the production set to be in May 2023, Vin Diesel teases fans about the official trailer “less than two months away” shares a video of the production set and a photo of a genuine hug being between him and actress Jordana Brewster.
Fast X will now be directed by Louis Leterrier (The Transporter), keeping Justin Lin on as a writer/producer, who infamously left the production due to creative differences. Many of the original cast such as Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, and Scott Eastwood are said to be reprising their roles in this tenth edition. Newer faces such as Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Alan Ritchson (Reacher), are reported to join the production as well. On the contrary to what we are used to seeing from Jason Momoa, it is rumored that he will be playing the antagonist. This time around the family is tested as new challenges take them around the globe from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and maybe even a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to Tbilisi. Old enemies reappear and friends from the past help to rewrite history as the successful and thrilling Fast and Furious franchise begins to come to an end.
Vin Diesel even leaves a touching message for Paul Walker the staple to the heart of the film.
