Earlier that day, Harlow shared a teaser on his Instagram, where listeners can catch a glimpse of him rapping the lines,
“I wish it was just us in this bitch / But they can trust us in this B**,” while seated at a restaurant table.
In addition to the song, Harlow and Doja Cat also unveiled a music video, attached above, showcasing the duo’s playful chemistry as they flirt in the restaurant setting. The visuals feature them dancing together both at the bar and in the kitchen, adding a lively atmosphere to their collaboration.
The Visuals
The music video is packed with unexpected celebrity appearances, featuring cameos from notable stars such as John Mayer, Matt Damon, and Nicholas Braun. Jack Harlow has had an eventful start to 2025, having released his first single of the year, “Set You Free,” just last month. In contrast to his relatively quiet musical output in 2024—where he only released two singles, “Hello Miss Johnson” and “Tranquility”—this year has marked a notable return to form for him.
These recent releases followed his second studio album, Jackman, which was unveiled in 2023, alongside his chart-topping hit single “Lovin’ on Me,” which soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
Doja’s Discography
Doja Cat’s collaboration on “Just Us” adds to her impressive list of musical partnerships this year; just last month, she joined forces with Raye and Lisa from Blackpink for the track “Born Again“. The talented artist, known for her hit “Paint the Town Red,” also released her fourth studio album, Scarlet, in 2023, which reached an impressive No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Following that success, she unveiled an expanded edition of the album called Scarlet 2 Claude later last year.
