Pi’erre Bourne is a legend in his own right. Not only does he make fire beats, but his tag is iconic. More specifically, because it’s from Foxx’s The Jamie Foxx Show. His infamous line “Yo Pi’erre, you wanna come out here?” can be heard in songs like Playboi Carti’s “Magnolia” and Young Nudy’s “Long Ride.” However, certain people are calling cap on this fact.
During a sitdown with Rap Radar, Foxx unveiled that his daughter doesn’t believe he voices Bourne’s tagline.
After learning the news about Bourne sampling his line, Foxx put in his two cents, saying it’s great.
The actor continues,
“My kids – I’m always trying to impress my daughter – she’s 13 and with her friends, and I’m like, ‘Listen, that’s me saying that,’ and she’s like ‘Dad, that ain’t you.’ Because, you know, she’s too young to have seen that show when it was out.”
In recent news, Pi’erre will begin his tour in Dublin, Ireland, on November 2nd. Then he’ll complete his Good Movie tour on December 17th in Auckland, New Zealand.
