Golden Globe Award-winning actor-singer Jamie Foxx recently used his musical chops to ask for a vast amount of Wingstop lemon pepper flavored wings, which can be seen below. While playing the piano, the Django Unchained star called two different Wingstop franchises to place an order for wings in a humorous yet soulful fashion. After ringing the first Wingstop store, the actor asked a worker if he could have 22,000 lemon pepper wings for a sleepover. Once the worker reiterated Jamie’s request, he quickly recanted the amount of wings.
“Literally, I need 200, but everybody at Wingstop sings, and I just. You picked up,” Jamie Foxx explained to the man before he hung up. “I said, ‘Ain’t no way he sings, too.'”
Following this, Jamie Foxx called a second Wingstop restaurant and inquired about getting 332,000 lemon pepper wings to go in the aforementioned singing range. He then minimized his order to 2,800 wings for a party. However, after the worker repeated Jamie’s order back to him, she mirrored the actor’s energy, singing “Lemon pepper wi-i-i-ngs.” Jamie Foxx was instantly astounded by the woman’s singing and had an even more funnier response.
“What the f**k is going on at Wingstop that everybody can sing?!” he asked.
Then, Jamie Foxx encouraged the woman to keep singing. Together, the two sang “lemon pepper wi-i-ings” in a call-and-response delivery.
Immediately, the singer-songwriter hilariously asked for 2,000 wings freshly plucked. “You can have how many ever you li-i-ike,” She replied.
Once Jamie Foxx got approval from a Wingstop manager, he added more wings to his request.
“Can I get 22,000 wings freshly plucked?” the actor asked. The worker repeated her response to the last inquiry but added some extra pizazz. “You can get them however the f**k,” she sang.
Before ending the call, Jamie Foxx told the Wingstop employee, who was later identified as Kim, that he was on his way, adding more comedic flair to his conversation.
In other news, the chicken wing franchise has revived its Wingstop Hot Box right in time for 4/20. Stoners alike can munch on a new flavor called T.H.C. (The Hot Chili Rub), which is a play on the terpenoid found in cannabis. The T.H.C is a mild, herby blend of chili peppers and other enigmatic spices. The “Wingstop Hot Box” comes with a side of ranch, a 20-oz drink, and either a sandwich, chicken tenders, or chicken wings.
