Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello has been added to the cast for One Piece’s second season. The live-action series’ newest batch of episodes is also rumored to star Katey Sagal, Sendhil Ramamurthy, and Mark Harelik. Manganiello is known for his acting chops in Spider-Man, How I Met Your Mother, and The Big Bang Theory, to name a few. So far, there’s no release date for the second season of One Piece. However, pirates Brook, Yorki, Laboon, Mizuta Madaisuki, and Mizuta Mawaritosuki are said to make an appearance.
Netflix’s live-action One Piece series is inspired by the hit manga series by Eiichiro Oda. In the series’ first season, viewers were introduced to Monkey D. Luffy and his crew as they embarked on several heroic adventures. Upon its release, the live One Piece adaption received 71,600,000 views. The new episodes will elaborate on the pirates’ journey to the Grand Lin.
The news regarding the show’s cast follows a set photo that went viral in May 2024. In the picture, the Rumber Pirates’ symbolic horned figurehead is stationed on the ground. The Rumbar Pirates, based in West Blue, are from the One Piece anime adaptation and Oda’s series. This group is said to have “met their end” once stepping into the Florian Triangle. They have two leading ships. One of them resembles a haunted ghost ship.
