Golden Globe nominee John David Washington will officially be acting in New Regency’s upcoming film, True Love. However, there are no details on the plot. It’s being described as a futuristic sci-fi film.
True Love will be written and directed by Gareth Edwards. It will be produced by Edwards and Kiri Hart with New Regency set to produce and fund the project. This new project will be Washington and New Regency’s latest collaboration. They’re also working together on David O. Russell’s project, which stars Christian Bale and Margot Robbie.
John David Washington has also played alongside Zendaya in Netflix’s romantic drama Malcolm and Marie.
