Kanye West‘s influence surely spoke volumes last night at his album listening party. He brought over 72,000 individuals together at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Others also noticed that the “Jesus Walks” mega rapper rocked the Adidas Yeezy 1020V Boots and YZY Gap Red Puffer jacket. But, the real attention grabber was hearing Jay-Z featured on one of the tracks. Other artists who took part in the album’s creative process are Pusha T and Lil Baby.
The reason others found Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaboration surprising was due to the years of distance between them. The track served as a reference toward their joint album Watch The Throne. According to Kanye West’s engineer, Jay-Z’s verse was recorded at 4 PM on the day of the listening session.
DONDA was supposed to debut last July but got halted due to some unknown reason. The album is now available to stream worldwide.
