Keanu Reeves admitted he wouldn’t mind playing Jack Traven again in a Speed Sequel during a conversation with Looper. He believes that going back to play certain characters holds a high significance.
He said to their host, “It’s cool … I never expected that starting out, so to have the opportunity to reprise roles, especially roles that you love, is a special thing. I acknowledge that. To be in John Wick: Chapter 4 is like, ‘What?’ In terms of reprising a role, I don’t know — let’s throw Jack Traven from Speed in the Wayback Machine.”

John Wick 4 is currently in theaters. It premiered on March 24th, 2023.
Ironically, Speed had a sequel but did not feature Reeves. The movie was ultimately given a thumbs down by several movie enthusiasts.
Speed hit screens in 1994 and stars Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. According to the synopsis, “Speed is centered on a Los Angeles police officer and his partner who, along with the help of a passenger, must help save the hostages on a bus that is rigged to explode if it drops below 50 miles per hour.”
