According to Deadline, The Wolf of Wall Street star Kyle Chandler will star alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the upcoming Showtime anthology series Super Pumped. Chandler will play as Bill Gurley, a Texas-based capitalist who puts all his cards on the success of the ride-share app Uber. Brian Koppelman and David Levien created the show.
The first season takes inspiration from the bestselling book Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber by Mike Isaac. It will speak on the uprise of Uber and depict the future state of the business in Silicon Valley. The show will also include the ultimate demise of Uber’s first CEO and co-founder, Travis Kalanick (Gordon-Levitt). There’s no release date as of yet.
