TMZ has just reported Hip-hop superstar Juice WRLD at just 21 yeas old, has reportedly died after suffering a seizure, bleeding from the mouth when medics responded to the scene at Midway airport in Chicago, IL. He was unconscious while being rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
The shocking news comes less than a week after the rapper’s 21st birthday. He notably rapped in his song “Legends” that he suffered “paranoia” and wasn’t “making it past 21.” That gave me chills.
Born Jarad Anthony Higgins, the gifted rapper first came onto the scene last year when his single “Lucid Dreams” lifted all the way to No. 2 on the Hot 100. Within the last year after signed to Interscope Records and collaborating with some of the genre’s biggest names like Lil Yachty and Travis Scott it was clear Juice WRLD was something the industry was missing with a bright future to come. Me, personally watching him freestyle was incredible and motivated so many younger up and coming artists. The amount of originality and raw talent was unmatched.
