Marvel chief Kevin Feige announced at the 2019 comic con that a new Fantasic Four is in development.
Marvel Studios cheif Kevin Feige confirmed to the crowds in Hall H that the famous Fantastic Four super hero group was in the making. Details on the film, pretaining to cast reveal and release date has not yet been annouced.
Feige interviewed with Variety stating
“All of that is spoilers, but I’m extremely excited about those characters, and about bringing Marvel’s first family up to the sort of platform and level they deserve.”
The most recent 2015 Fantastic Four was directed by Josh Trank, starred Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell brough by 20th Century Fox. Tranks screenplay didn’t quit meet commercial or critique expectations.
With the new announcment for The Fantastic Four fans are curious to see how the film will be brought to the MCU- many hoping for the 1960 Fantastic four nostalgia. As the last few Fox attempts left Fantastic Four Fanatics totally unexcited. Feige mentioned that Marvel is nowhere near a finished script or casting for Fantastic Four, so in other words it’s a bit of a wait before this film gets to Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Disney has officially taken ownership of Fox’s Marvel properties, now owning film rights for the Fantastic Four characters.
