Marvel Studios is starting the clock on the countdown to the highly anticipated Loki! This 6 episode series will give the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleson) the opportunity to maneuver through his everyday mayhem, while being the star. We all know how layered Loki’s character is, and now we will have the opportunity to see him in all of his glory!
Hiddleson is expected to appear alongside Owen Wilson. Little is known about the extent of their relationship in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we are in for a treat! The pair teamed up to create a video in honor of the premiere, and to give us a few key details about Wilsons character.
Hiddleston says “Loki is a God and Mobius is more of a bureaucrat shall we say.” A God working with a bureaucrat? Who knows what’s in store for these two. But we will see Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Gran in the mix! Sex Education‘s Kate Herron is expected to direct and the loyal Sarah Finn has casted this series. Finn as truly been a wonder, casting over 23 Marvel films with more on the way. Loki Is expected to premiere June 11, 2021, streaming exclusively on Disney+.
