A teaser for the Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling-led film Barbie has officially dropped. It’s accompanied by posters that are just as vibrant. Robbie plays Barbie while Gosling plays Ken. Similarly other Ken’s and Barbie’s can be found in the movie. The cast list also includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Dua Lipa and Helen Mirren.
Barbie is based on the highly raved Matel doll. Greta Gerwig put the concept of this film into fruition and directs the film as well. Noah Baumbach also plays a role in the script process.
Barbie will hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
