After launching his inaugural festival “Something in the Water” earlier this year, Pharrell is already planning ahead for 2020. Yesterday (Oct.14), Live Nation announced that Skateboard P would bring back his multi-day fest to his hometown of Virginia next year from April 20-26.
According to the Live Nation press release, Pharrell hopes to expand the programming of the festival from April 20-23, by enlisting some of “the brightest minds from the culinary world, technology, environmental sustainability, health & wellness, media and more.”
Last year, Pharrell invited dozens of stars such as Missy Elliott, J. Balvin, Lil Uzi Vert and Rosalia to take center stage at his debut festival with Jay-Z even making a surprise appearance. So from April 24 through April 26, Pharrell plans to enlist some of music’s brightest stars to touchdown in his city for another amazing show.
An exclusive local pre-sales tickets for the April 24-26 dates will be available Saturday Oct. 19, from 12 PM EST through 5 PM EST, for Virginia residents. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater or online at somethinginthewater.com. Lineup announcements are coming soon.
