It’s been announced that A Power Rangers 2 is on it’s way. Are you kinda excited? It’s been since 2017 that we’ve experienced the assorted colors of good guys. There’s been a varied collection of cartoon to live action movies that’s done expeditiously well this year. A year surely pleasing to the fans that love them some classic action.
Hasbro Power Rangers is getting a reboot from Paramount and news has it that Jonathan Entwistle will be in the director’s chair. The movie will involve time travel and most likely a whole new and improved cast!
Former Power Ranger Ludi Lin took to Twitter to announce the news and excited hopes for a crew just a diverse as the team he had the pleasure of being apart of in 2017.
The 2017 Power Ranger team starred Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger, Becky G -Yellow Ranger, RJ Cyler – Blue Ranger, Ludi Lin -Black Ranger and Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger. All of who are on different and successful paths now.
Dacre Montgomery is on a roll with the Netflix series Stranger Things. Becky G has dove into the music industry making a few hits and current album Mala Santa. RJ Cyler appeared in horror movie Scream and was involved in Black Lightening. Lin takes his Ranger skills to the coming Mortal Kombat and previously played as Murk in DC’s Aquaman. Naomi Scott played princess Jasmine in Disney’s live action Aladdin and featured in Charlie’s Angels this year.
The 2017 Power Rangers brought in over $90 million domestically at the box office and $142 million worldwide.
